Aliza Shapiro, LCSW

Aliza Shapiro, LCSW (Manhattan Office) completed her Master’s degree at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and is the Assistant Director of Clinical Services at the Center for Anxiety. She provides evidence-based cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy techniques including exposure, mindfulness, emotion-regulation and distress tolerance, as well as strength-based approaches. As a dedicated and empathic clinician, Aliza helps children, adolescents and adults overcome a wide array of presenting problems.
