Ben Johnides, MA

Ben Johnides, MA (Brooklyn Office) is completing a two-year combined internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Anxiety. As a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Missouri, he received clinical training in evidence-based treatments including cognitive-behavioral therapy, and multi-systemic therapy, an intensive family-based treatment for adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system. His dissertation is examining the secondary benefits of family-based treatments for caregivers and siblings of children with mental health problems, and his other research interests include the developmental impact of early intervention, and long-term effects of evidence-based treatments for children.
