Jamal Waire, PsyM

Jamal Waire, Psy.M. (Manhattan Office) is a doctoral intern at the Center for Anxiety. Jamal is currently a fifth-year doctoral student at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Adelphi University and his Master’s degree in school psychology at Rutgers University. Jamal has extensive experience providing evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety and mood-related disorders in both clinical and educational settings. He has received specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and utilizes multicultural perspectives to meet the diverse needs of his clients and their families.
