Keryn Kleiman, MA
Keryn Kleiman, MA (Rockland Office) is a doctoral extern at the Center for Anxiety. She is interested in mood and anxiety-related disorders, as well as acceptance- and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapies. Keryn is currently a doctoral student at Kean University’s clinical and school psychology program, where she is managing a study evaluating a compassion-focused acceptance-based therapy for mood- and trauma-related difficulties. Prior to graduate school, Keryn worked as a research assistant at the Regulation of Emotion in Anxiety and Depression lab at Columbia University and a junior research scientist at the Family Translational Research Group at New York University. She earned a BA in ethnomusicology at Barnard College at Columbia University. Keryn strives to apply evidence-based treatments to most effectively address the unique needs of each individual client.
