Marcia Kimeldorf, PhD

Marcia Kimeldorf, PhD (Manhattan and Brooklyn offices) is a Supervising Clinical Psychologist and the Director of Clinical Services at the Center for Anxiety. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Miami, and has completed advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Prior to working at CFA, Dr. Kimeldorf worked at Harlem Hospital department of Behavioral Health, and prior to that she worked as a research project manager at the New York State Psychiatric Institute conducting research on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. Dr. Kimeldorf specializes in empirically supported treatments for anxiety and mood disorders and relationship dysfunction. She is also interested in sexual health and sex therapy and is receiving training at the NYU Sexuality Training Program. Dr. Kimeldorf is approachable and easy to talk to, and is dedicated to helping her patients make meaningful changes in their lives.
