Each member of our clinical staff is exceptionally trained in the application of Cognitive Behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders and many other concerns. In addition, individual clinical team members have special strengths and areas of expertise, as outlined below. David H. Rosmarin, PhD, ABPP
David H. Rosmarin, PhD, ABPP, is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, and Founder of Center for Anxiety. He completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at Bowling Green State University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. His clinical work and research have been featured in Scientific American, the Boston Globe, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.

Marcia Kimeldorf, PhD
Marcia Kimeldorf, PhD, is the Director of Clinical Services, Director of Clinical Training, and a supervising psychologist at Center for Anxiety’s Manhattan office. She received her master’s degree in social/organizational psychology from Columbia University, and her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Miami.

Staci Berkowitz, PhD, is the Director of Center for Anxiety’s Manhattan office, where she is also a supervising psychologist. Thanos Nioplias, LMHC
Thanos Nioplias, LMHC, is the Director of Center for Anxiety’s Great Neck office, where he is also a staff clinician. Thanos completed his master’s degree in mental health counseling at City University of New York, and he is also certified with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.

Stephen Scherer, PhD
Stephen Scherer, PhD is the Director of Center for Anxiety’s Rockland County office, where he is also a supervising psychologist He received his doctorate from Virginia State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Julia Dyckman Andrus Memorial, where he served as the director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program. He is presently a research consultant with Virginia State University, focusing on academic outcomes for Historically Black College and University students.

Christy A. Clark, PhD
Christy A. Clark, PhD is the Director for Center for Anxiety’s Boston (Back Bay) office, where she is also a supervising psychologist. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute, and her postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School Trauma and Dissociative Disorders Unit. She is on faculty at UMASS Medical School.

Noah Hercky, LMFT is the Director of Marriage and Family Therapy at Center for Anxiety, located in the Manhattan office, where he is also a therapist and clinical supervisor. Yulia Gorokhovsky, PsyD, is a supervising psychologist in the Brooklyn Office. She completed her doctorate in clinical and school psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Prior to working at CFA, Dr. Gorokhovsky completed her postdoctoral experiences at a community mental health clinic at New Alternatives for Children, where she had previously completed a year-long internship, as well as at a private practice providing evidence-based treatment to adults.
