LaNisha Allen, MA, is a Doctoral Intern at Center for Anxiety’s
Brooklyn o ce. She holds a master’s degree in counseling and is
pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology at William James College.
LaNisha works at the Community Caring Clinic working with
underserved populations and was an Advanced Practicum Doctoral
Student at the Mclean Anxiety Mastery Program. She has served as a
Mental Health provider since 2017. Her professional interest is
implementing and integrating third-wave modalities, psychotherapy,
psychoeducation, and faith-based practices into innovative
solutions for complex challenges and mental health concerns
challenging underserved communities and diverse populations.
LaNisha’s career objectives are to increase societal and systemic
transformation through education, leadership, mentorship,
healthcare treatment, and public policy.
