  • June 2016 - Please join us for our next Community Education Series event on June 22nd at 12:30PM. Dr. David Rosmarin will be speaking on "One Session Exposure Therapy for Specific Phobias: Overcoming Your Fears in a Single Day". At any point in time, nearly 9% of the population has a specific phobia, involving marked and persistent fear and avoidance of one or more specific objects or situations (e.g., flying, driving, heights, dogs, spiders, medical/dental procedures). This talk will provide an overview of a novel and highly effective evidence-based approach to the treatment of specific phobias, which helps individuals overcome their fears in a single day, without the use of medication.
